Q: I got the Postcard in the mail, what does this mean to me?

A: We are excited to let you know that we are going to realign the channel locations to group by genre. For example: All sports together, all news together and all children’s programming together.

Q: Are we going to lose channels?

A: Absolutely not! 5 channels are moving to a new location, but we are not removing any non-duplicated channels.

Q: What if I have the HD Package?

A: You will see your bill go down $10.99, since we will no longer be charging the HD Technology fee. The 5 channels that were exclusive to the HD channel Package, HDNet Movies, Axs TV, Motortrend, MTV Live and FYI are being moved to our Choice Package.

Q: Why are you doing this?

A: We want to bring you the entire Basic and Expanded Basic lineup to you in High Definition. We also want to make the channel lineup more user friendly. The channels will be grouped by category. This may help you discover other channels that may be of interest to you.

Q: Do you have a copy of the channel lineup now?

A: YES! The channel lineup is available below and you will receive a channel lineup in the mail by the week of the July 22nd.

Q: Will my remote control need to be reprogrammed?

A: You will not need to do anything to reprogram your remote control or rescan your TV for the new channel locations. The cable box will automatically be updated with the information.

Q: If I have a DVR, what will happen to my series recordings?

A: You may need to reset your recordings. Since we are replacing all standard definition channels with high definition (HD) channels, you will need to reset all programmed DVR recordings that were set for any standard definition channels after the realignment occurs on August 6th.

Q: How do I know what series recording I have set?

A: You can view all of your series recordings by following these steps:

  1. Hit the Menu button
  2. Arrow over and select DVR
  3. Arrow down and select Series Recordings
